Spartan Custom Motorcycle Leathers

Spartan Leathers FAQ

Q: What is your turnaround time for a custom suit?
A: We now expedite every suit, so it typically will take 3-4 weeks to get your custom suit, jacket or pants back.
It is possible it could take longer for various unforseen reasons such as natural disaster, customs delays, etc.
Or if for example we ran out of leather in your color due to unusual demand, and had to tan some more leather
to make your suit. But we try to avoid that. Please note: I highly recommend
you do not schedule a trackday until you have the leathers in hand, and you have verified the fit.
I cannot guarantee that your suit will come in before any particular date.

Q: How do I order a custom suit?
A: 1) Go to the store here.
	2) Add the suit you want to your cart and check out.
	3) Then go to the Sizing and Ordering page,
           and submit your measurements there.
        4) At that bottom of that page, you will find color templates for you to download, fill in, and email
           to me at Sales@SpartanLeathers.com.

Q: How much does it cost to add [some option]?
A: Spartan Leathers now has All-Inclusive pricing! That means almost all of our options are included in the
price. Custom lettering, thermal liners, double zippers, back humps, etc are all included.
Shipping (to the US) is free too !

Q: How much is Shipping?
A: Shipping to the United States is FREE! Canada and Europe is as follows (Shipped via USPS). Purchase
price from $0-$200 is $10 shipping, $200.01-$1000 is $25 shipping, and $1000.01+ is $35 shipping. I ship via USPS
to Canada to help save you the brokerage charges levied by shipping companies.

Q: Im a big guy. Can you make leathers to fit me?
A: Yes. Big guys make up most of my business.

Q: Do you have anything that shows what these different features and options you offer are?
A: Yes! Look here: Features & Options

Q: Do the suits come with knee pucks?
A: Yes.

Q: What colors can I choose from?
A: Here is the color chart: Color Chart
Black, Gold and Pink are also available, although not on the chart. Note that the Dark Gray and Light
Gray colors are metallic, although it may not show on the chart.

Q: Do you have a size chart for your rack sized suits?
A: Yes! Here is the sizing chart: Size Chart

Q: What kind of armor is in your suits?
A: Every suit has CE approved GP Style armor in the shoulders, elbows and knees. This armor
is foam backed with a hard plastic shell for abrasion resistance.
Pictures can be found in the Photo Album.
The suit also has a back pad (non-CE), and hip pads (CE approved).
If you would like even more protection, consider upgrading to TPro Forcefield armor! It's the best!

Q: Can I order a suit without the Spartan logos?
A: Yes, just specify your preferences in your order details.

Q: I saw a "Spartan" suit on Ebay/Craigslist/etc. Is it one of yours?
A: It is possible, but not necessarily. There was a "Spartan" brand out in the early to mid '90s,
that was a line produced by Fieldsheer for Tucker Rocky. That brand is long
since gone, however suits occasionally will pop up on Ebay. If it looks like a style from the 90's,
it's not one of ours. Look for my Spartan logo and see if they match.

Q: How can you sell a quality suit for such a low price?
A: The simple answer is that I do not rely on this business for my livelyhood. I have no payroll,
offices, warehouses or employees to pay for. I personally am the suit designer, importer,
web designer, retailer, sales force, and customer service department. I make very little
on these suits, and pass the savings on to you.

Q: I ride Motard/Drag/etc? Can I get a suit more suited to that, with no knee pucks and a more relaxed torso?
A: Yes, just specify your preferences in your order details.

Q: Can I get the leathers made to go over my boots?
A: Yes. At the "___ to ankle" measurements, measure to the top of the sole of your boots, rather than
your ankle bone. For the calf and ankle measurements, measure over your boot.
Specify that you want them made over the boot in your order details.

Q: Can I get a suit made in my own design?
A: Yes, but since it is not a standard design, the cost may not be the same as one of my standard suits.
Email me your design, I will get you pricing, and you can decide if it is acceptable. If you go this route,
I would discourage you from putting designs and therefore seams in the butt and rear thigh areas.

Q: What is your guarantee policy?
A: I stand behind my suits. If there is a problem with the materials or workmanship, I will do whatever
I can to fix the problem. However, unless I personally measure you, I cannot guarantee the fit,
as there is no good way to tell if the problem was in measuring or production.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: No return on custom fit products. Returns or exchanges of [rack sized] products in new condition are happily accepted.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: On custom suits, if production has not begun, we will refund 100% of your suit cost. However, if
production has begun, it cannot be cancelled. The standard no-refunds on custom suits applies.
This policy is due to as once the suit has begun production, I cannot cancel the order,
and it is nearly impossible to sell a suit that was made to fit someone else's body. There is no
cancellation fee on rack sized suits.

Q: Where are they produced?
A: They are designed by me, and made in Pakistan. All suits are made to my specifications.

Q: Will leathers prevent me from getting injured in a crash?
A: This may sound like a dumb question to you, but not everybody is as smart as you are.
You can still get injured or even die in a crash while wearing leathers.
